KICK VOLLEY 04 results

This tournament was postponed due to a major student strike in Quebec. It was also delayed 'cause I had a request from the guy on the poster. He had a knee injury but just thought about coming back to play. So, well, I accepted and from March 24-25 th 2012 it floated on to June 15-16th 2013.

The second day was floated by the way, but back on this later.
Saturday June 15th 2013, first day of Kick Volley 04. Seven teams battling for the doubles title.
Amongst them 4 World Champions for Montreal over time.

The mixed doubles is even more interesting as top 3 World Championship finishers François Depatie-Pelletier and Marilyn Demuy met Luc Legault and Geneviève Bousquet in the final match of pool play (4 Teams playin' each other.) Luc and Geneviève took Frinki's and Marilyn's seed and they are now considered first going to the finals.

This mixed finals is postponed as the weather was pretty bad (rain, rain, rain) and a common decision was taken to wait for better conditions to play the most interesting match of the event.

Stay tuned for the results of this one. For now here are the open doubles results:

1 Francois Depatie Pelletier et Luc Legault
2 Marc Giard-Larivière et Olivier Berthiaume-Bergé
3 Carl-Antoine Boulay et Yves Archambault
4 Geneviève Bousquet et MaudeLandreville
5 Marilyn Demuy et Chris Bock
6 Luka Weyler-Lavallée et Philippe Lessard
7 Marie-Lou Roy et Christophe Spooner

Pro Kicker has a new web site

Pro Kicker International was just released a few minutes ago. It has a fresher look and it will be easier to modify as time goes by.

Update: SOLD OUT,  These collections are all SOLD

I jumped on the occasion to offer all the Pro Kicker customers a nice occasion to grab some real good deals. I have 8 super Footbag collections that I offer at a big discount price.
The complete collection of Pro Kicker Footbags has 26 models in total and the usual retail price is 353$ when bought separately.
The web site launching price is a ridiculous 150$ + 15$ shipping. As I said there's only 8 of these kits so, collectors and hacky sack maniacs now is the time to step up and invest in your feet.
Our current line up of footbag and other alternative sports

For those who prefer Sand bags only I have another package that could possibly suit you.
I packaged the 2012 collection of the SABLE 8 fourteen colors in a combo for 78$ + 12$ shipping.

Hurry up if you want this before Christmas as the deadline for mailing at reasonable prices are around December 10th. These items ship only to Canada and the US for now.

Pro Kicker at the 2012 Phys Ed. teachers conference

This is a Pro Kicker video prepared for the 2012 Quebec's Physical Education teachers congress. Images from a local Peteca tournament, as well as World Footbag Championships 2012, and a Montreal Mini Net tournament, were all mixed together for this event.

Yves Archambault, assisted by Marilyn Demuy, gave a workshop to highly motivated PE teachers. After all they had to give up 2 days on a 3 days week-end to attend this annual meeting where all the latest tendancies in sports and physical activities show up.

The tournaments talked about in this post will be re-posted - All the videos are ready.

I'm presently working hard on producing a lot of Footbag video. Just finished to add the scores to all the following net matches:

2012 World Footbag Championships (Warsaw, Poland)

- Women open singles finals match

- Open doubles finals match

- Open singles finals match

- Mixed doubles finals match

2009 The Bembel Cup (Frankfurt, Germany)

The site's launch is planned for December 1st 2012.

A Footbag teaching appearance at the Quebec's Physical educator's congress

I had the privilege to give a workshop to a group of dedicated teachers at the annual Quebec's Federation of Physical Educators congress. I shared my knowledge of teaching Footbag and I also introduced them to Peteca, a cool Brazilian sport. This year's the congress title was ''Bougeons ensemble'' which could be loosely translated by ''Let's move together''.

I also had a product booth at the convention where I showed my Footbag line and Peteca products as well as Takraws and Handsacks. Overall it was a neat experience and I will certainly be back next year in Sherbrooke.

Another successfull footbag workshop in Blainville

I recently had the opportunity to give two footbag workshops at ''Les Semailles'' school in Blainville (25 minutes from Montreal) . It's the 6th year in a row that I can meet with the motivated kids at that school thanks to teacher Geneviève Croteau.

One part of my workshop is a two minutes consecutive kicks contest. One of the 6th graders, Jonathan Roy, kicked 120 times without dropping the footbag. This is talent and dedication, congratulations Jonathan.

Pro Kicker Footbags were provided for the practical parts of the workshop.
